The bounty Board of Supervisors of Bayfield County, Wis. met at the office of
the County Clerk, October 16th, 1919.
Meeting called to order, by Chair4ian 0. M. Axness.
Meeting held pursuant to the following call:
To Nels M. Oscar, Co. Clerk,, Bayfield County, 'Wis.
We the undersigned members of the County Board of Bayfield County hereby request
you to call a special meeting of the. County board to I be held at the office of the

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The follotring resolution was -presented and was adopted:
RBSOLUTTOK ADOPTED BY COUNTY BOARD UNDER SECTION 2, CHAPTER 667
LAWS OF 1919, MAKING AN ELECTION TO !SSE BO!qDS.
Resolved, by the County Board of Bayfield County that this county elects to
raise by bond issue its share and quota of the tax levied and
imposed by Section 2 of Chapter 667, laws of 1919, to supply
funds M sufficient to assure to each soldier, sailor, marine
and nurse, including red cross nurses, who served in the
armed forces of the United States during the war against
Germany and Austria,, and who at the time of his or her
induction into the service, was a resident of Wisconsin,
a sum not exceeding ten dollars for each month of service,
with a minimum of fifty dollars, as a token of appreciation
of the character and spirit of their patrictiz service, and to
perpetuate such appreciation as a part of the history of Wisconsin."
Resolved, That the County Clerk shall before October 20th 1919,
notify the 'Secretary of State of the election of the County
to raise the necessary money for the soldiers' bonus by
a bond issue, and furnish the said secretary of state a
certified copy of this resolution, and the minutes of the
action of the County Board ther6on.

Adopted this 16th day of October, 1919.
Upon roll call, all members percent voted in the affirmative.
Upon motion board adjourned.
