At the Finance Committee meeting yesterday we discussed the provisions of Chapter 1 110 of the Laves of 1955 relating to installment payment of taxes. I have checked the Session Latins and find that the only change was the one effected by Chapter 1100 It seems quite clear as to the, tax levy now being collected:, the law now is that any tax of $20:00 or under on a description of land must be paid in full on or before February 28th: Where the tax on a description is between $20:00 and 40:00, the first installment must be at least 20:00: If the tax on a description is over $40:00, then one=half may be paid in Tanuary and the other- half deferred until the end of uly; I hope this will assist you in clearing up any confusion about the provisions of Chapter 110: Yours very truly; Walter m.
