Rondeau-Chair Delores Kittleson Dear Committee Members: This letter is written to inform you of the Bayfield County Executive Committee Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 10:00 a.m., in the County Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse, Washburn, Wisconsin. The agenda for this meeting is as follows: AMENDED : AGENDA - detail 1. Call to Order; 2. Motion Regarding Minutes of September 17th Executive Committee Meeting; 3. Maximus Inc. Presentation; Dave Malinowski, this company provides our indirect cost services. Mr. Malinowski will be present to review services provided for Bayfield County and other services available through their company. 4. Discussion regarding Superior Days Topics: 5. Health insurance reimbursement options discussion: Bayfield County currently shares the cost of health insurance with employees. BC pays 90%, employees pay 10%. Several employees have inquired about a bonus if they don’t take insurance coverage with BC. Discussion and possible action regarding the establishment of specific criteria for the Bayfield County Economic Development Corporation to meet in order to obtain additional funding from Bayfield County. I met and discussed this issue in general with Frank Graves and Jim Radke. I stressed the committee’s interest in job creation and grants benefiting BC. 7. Discussion and possible action regarding Mileage Reimbursement and Use of County Vehicles. I would like to review our policy for county vehicle usage. At present our policy is for departments to use County Vehicles. When a county vehicle is not available we use personal vehicles. 8. 2002 and 2003 Budget Review: 9. Audit Review. Our audit firm has completed the 2001 audit. All of you should have received a copy of it. They have stated that our financial statements “present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of Bayfield County”. 10. Adjournment.
