Rondeau-Chair Delores Kittleson Dear Committee Members: This letter is written to inform you of the Bayfield County Executive Committee Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at 4:00 p.m., in the County Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse, Washburn, Wisconsin. The agenda for this meeting is as follows: AGENDA 1. Call to Order; 2. Motion Regarding Minutes of the July 8, 2003 Executive Committee Meeting; 3. Discussion and possible action regarding Countywide Waste Tire Clean-Up Program. Tim Kane will make a presentation. 4. 2004 Budget Discussion: A. Excess Revenue: a. Excess revenues from 2003 will be available in September. I would propose that we transfer dollars to the following locations. i. Capital Improvement Fund. This is used to fund one time expenses in various departments. ii. Other B. Discussion & Possible Action Regarding County Board Budget: C. D. User Fee Adjustment: various department issues under consideration a. Zoning: Fees ($185,000) currently cover 50% of our operation. Other county comparisons: i. Waushura: 34% ii. Oconto: 55% iii. St. Croix: 90% iv. Pierce: 75% v. Washburn: 50% vi. Sauk: 33% vii. Bayfield: 50% b. Coroner: We are considering implementing death certificate fees. c. Sheriff: Consideration of increases for licenses. Human Services: Considering charging for certain licensing fees. d. Other: 5.
