Motion Regarding Minutes of the December 16, 2005 Personnel Committee Meeting:
Motion by Kittleson, second by Good to approve the minutes of the December 16, 2005
Personnel Committee meeting as presented. Motion Carried.
The committee reviewed the proposal for uniform allowance that was discussed at the Dec 16
meeting. WPPA will be taking the proposal to their members for vote on Jan 4, 2006. The
purpose of this meeting is to have a formal vote on this proposal because there was not a quorum
present at the end of the Dec 16 meeting. Abeles-Allison distributed a summary of information
that was given to the WPPA leadership, which gives an example of the purchasing power that
would be gained by moving to the quartermaster system. Paulson emphasized that a specific
uniform needs to be identified and one or two suppliers be contracted to supply the uniforms.
Items that are considered as uniform must be specifically identified.
Motion by Good, second by Kittleson to approve the proposal that was discussed at the

The committee discussed a request for extended unpaid leave of absence for a Jail employee.
The committee was also updated on an upcoming Circuit Court Appeal of the Teamsters Unit
Clarification case.

run consecutive with the current leave. Motion Carried.
