Dear County Board Members:
This letter is written to inform you of a Bayfield County Personnel Committee
Meeting scheduled for, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 4:00 pm, in the
Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Bayfield County Courthouse, Washburn,
Wisconsin. The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
AGENDA
1. Approval of minutes of the March 7 and March 11, 2013 Personnel Committee
meetings.
2. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Wage Study, Sections F-I,
establishing Philosophy and Base Compensation Administration.
3. Discussion and Possible Action on Personnel Manual Modifications.
4. The committee may enter in and out of closed session pursuant to Wisconsin
Statutes §19.85(1)(c, e, f, g) for Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
a. Compensation of county employees over which the governmental body
has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility
b. Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or
disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of
specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against
specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in
public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the
reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or

involved in such problems or investigations.
c. Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is
rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by
the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become
involved.
