Call to Order and Introductions
Henkel called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. Introductions were made.
Adoption of Agenda
Linder noted that Agenda Item #6 and #7 will be tabled to the January meeting.
Motion made by Compton to adopt the agenda with the exception of Item #6 and Item #7. Seconded
by Gilles, motion carried.
Adoption of the September 26, 2011 Minutes
Motion made by Gilles to adopt the September 26, 2011 minutes. Seconded by Compton, motion
carried.
Open Floor for Public Input
Henkel opened the floor for public input at 3:04 p.m.
Sederholm arrived at 3:06 p.m.
LaFernier arrived at 3:08 p.m. Introductions were made. LaFernier is filling the position held
previously by Sarah Quale, Red Cliff Tribal ADR Specialist who resigned her position. The committee
welcomed Richard.
Consideration for Approval-2012 Specialized Transportation Assistance Program
Linder distributed and reviewed the 2012 Application DOT S.85.21 Specialized Transportation
Services for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities. DHS has made application for $68,117 in state
assistance with $13,623 of local match funds budgeted. Discussion followed.
Morris arrived at 3:25 p.m. Introductions were made.
Deb Morris, Red Cliff Social Services has been appointed to the Medicaid Transportation Advisory
Board for the State of Wisconsin. She can be reached at dmorris@redcliff-nsn.gov, 715-779-3706,
x259. Deb asked that we forward any information from consumers using Logisticare to her.

Motion made by Compton to approve the 2012 Application DOT S.85.21 Specialized Transportation
Services for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities. Seconded by Sederholm, motion carried.
Consideration for Approval-Alzheimer’s Family Caregiver Support Program 2012 Application
Item #6 tabled to the January 2012 meeting.
Consideration for Approval-2012 Elder Abuse Application
Item #7 tabled to the January 2012 meeting.
Nutrition Program Update(s)
A. The committee reviewed units of service for the home delivered and congregate meal
programs. Linder distributed nutrition program information. Graphs and data on the Washburn
Congregate Meal Site for 2010 and 2011 were provided along with the Annual Report data for
purchased costs per year for 2006-2010.
Henkel requested information on contributions for the Time-Out Congregate Meal Site. Linder
will provide data for all congregate meal site contributions at the January, 2012 meeting.
ADRC Update(s)
A. Linder presented an update to the waiting list. There are currently four elderly on the waiting
list for Family Care or IRIS. Two individuals are waiting for COP, Mental Health and one for
Supportive Home Care. All attrition slots have been assigned.
Informational Items
Linder informed committee members that the County Administrator asked for County Board
representation on the advisory committee. Because the South Shore area is not currently
represented, Bucky Jardine has been invited to become a member of the committee. He will begin
attending meetings January 2012.

Henkel closed the floor for public input at 4:02 p.m.
Schedule 2012 Meeting Dates
The 2012 meeting calendar was distributed. Meeting dates for 2012 are: January 23; March 26; May
21; July 23; September 24; November 26, 2012.

Henkel adjourned the meeting at 4:09 p.m.
