C. Site Reviews – Linder reviewed a Dining Experience Form for committee members to use for
assessing congregate meal sites. Each committee member as asked to pick a site, visit it and
obtain feedback to facilitate increased customer experience. Schell noted that there were
grammatical errors on the form. Linder noted this and will update form and send out to
committee members. Locations for Senior Dining sites were also distributed and Linder asked
committee members to identify a site they would be willing to visit.
Linder provided an update for the Time-Out congregate meal site. Sufficient funding was
included in the 2017 budget to address the current number of meals that are being served at
the Time Out and other congregate elderly nutrition sites. Staff oversight at the Time Out was
identified as a requirement in the 2016 ENP assessment conducted by GWAAR staff; this has
been implemented effective 9/1/16. DHS will continue to analyze the number of meals served
on an ongoing basis. Should the number of meals increase significantly, options on regulating
the number of meals served that have been discussed previously will be revisited.
