A. Proclamation Recognizing May as ADRC Month – Proclamation signed by the Governor’s Office
recognizing May 2019 as the ADRC month throughout the State of Wisconsin.
B. Re-Allocation Process – Linder presented a brief history of the ADRC make-up. A work group
was put together from across the State. Work group asked for funding in the budget but cannot

implement this without phase in by 2020.
C. ADRC Regional Budget Issues – ADRC regional budget sustains a Regional Coordinator, phone
system, 4 full-time staff and a Dementia Care Specialist. With no cost increases, trying to figure
out how to support the same level of service.

interviewed 5 people and have hired Natalie Schmaltz from the Iron County area. Currently
working for hospice.

A. 2019-2021 Budget Updates – Previously, under Governor Scott Walker the federal Medicaid
funding was declined. However, Governor Evers, has accepted the Medicaid funding to support

opportunity to share concerns please direct support to Beth Meyers and /or Janet Bewley. Linder
will send out additional information on this.
