ADRC Update
Originally the ADRC was created in 2009 with the 5 counties of Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, Price and
Sawyer. Information was received in May that as of 2021 the incentive funding to regionalize is
ending. This funding supported the ADRC Coordinator, phone system, database and some regional
staff. Currently plans are in motion to change to a different database. The ADRC Coordinator is
working on this and migrating to the State supported system called WellSky. This is another
component within SAMS (Social Assistance Management System) that we use now.
