The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Agenda (Amended) 1. Call to Order. 2. Approval of the January 11, 2012 Meeting Minutes. 3. Approval of the February 8, 2012 Meeting Minutes. 4. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 5. Monthly Financial Report. 6. Access Permit Re-Route Request: Paul Becker, Victory Buck Camp. Discussion and possible action regarding the re-route of an existing permitted access trail in the Town of Barnes. 7. Recreational Use Request: Ron Bergin, CAMBA. Discussion and possible action regarding permission to host the 4th annual Festival of the Trails mountain bike event on May 25 – 27, 2012. 8. 2011 Forestry and Parks Department Accomplishment Report. Discussion and possible action. 9. Sand and Gravel Policy. Discussion and possible action regarding sand and gravel policies and procedures. 10. Bayfield County Ordinance Amendment. Discussion and possible action regarding amending Bayfield County Ordinance Section 12-2-3, Responsibilities and Duties of Bayfield County Forestry & Parks Committee March 12, 2012 Meeting Agenda Page 2 of 2 the Forestry and Parks Committee, to include the administration of sand and gravel pits located on county forest land. 11. General Discussion Items. Action as needed: a) Parks. b) Sand River Pit Update. c) 2012 Town Road Aids. d) Forester Position Update. e) Access Management. f) Red Cliff Land Transaction Proposal Update. g) General Department Updates. h) Steve Coffin and Joseph LeBouton, DNR Representatives, Comments. 12. Executive Session. The Committee may enter in and out of Executive Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(g)(e) for the purpose of considering legal advice regarding strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved and for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds or conducting other specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session: a) Approval of the January 11, 2012 Executive Session Minutes b) Bradfield Road Access Issue. c) Jackman Lake Road Access Issue. d) Lyme Timber (formerly Wausau Paper) 40 Acre Parcel Acquisition.
