The agenda for this meeting is as follows: 1. Call to Order. 2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 3. Approval of the October 8th Meeting Minutes. 4. Fall Timber Sale Bid Opening. Discussion and action regarding the opening, recording and preliminary awarding of the fall 2018 timber sales. 5. Land Use Request. Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to tap trees located on county forest land in the Town of Russell for the production of maple syrup. The request is associated with a USDA Farm to School grant awarded to Red Cliff in collaboration with the Bayfield School District. 6. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible action on report(s) only. a) Forestry (all updates): a. 2018 Budget. b. Stewardship Grant. c. NHI/Timber Sale Process Review. d. County/DNR Time Standards. e. Bayfield Wireless Communications Tower. Motorized Trails. ii. Landfill. 7. Recreational Use Request. Bait Rigs Tackle. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to use Twin Bear Campground as a staging area for the Bait Rigs Tackle Youth Ice Fishing Tournament. This new event would take place on January 5, 2019. 8. Recreational Use Request. North End Ski Club. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to hold the North End Snowshoe Classic racing event on existing trails in the Town of Cable. This new event would take place on January 5, 2019. 9. Recreational Use Request. American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to hold the Ladies Fat Bike Getaway on existing trails in the Town of Cable. This new event/workshop would take place on December 15, 2018. 10. Access Permit Request: Jason and Tammy Rhode. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to access property located in the Town of Barnes. 11. Sustainable Forestry Grant. Discussion and possible action regarding an application to the annual WI DNR County Forest Sustainable Forestry grant. 12. Joseph LeBouton, DNR Representative, Comments.
