The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, January 14th at 6:00 p.m. in
the County Board Room of the Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin. The agenda for this meeting is as
follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person.
3. Approval of the November 19th Meeting Minutes.
4. Introduction of Lindley Mattson as the new Office Manager of the Forestry and Parks
Department.
5. Xcel Energy. Update on the proposed Xcel Energy 2nd Circuit Transmission Line Project.
Discussion and possible action.
6. Bayfield Peninsula Energy Alternative (BPEA), Roy Settgas, Spokesperson. Update on the
proposed Xcel Energy 2nd Circuit Transmission Line Project. Discussion and possible action.
7. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on report(s) only.

10. Joseph LeBouton, DNR Representative, Comments.
11. Executive Session. The Committee may enter in and out of Executive Session pursuant to
Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c), to consider employment, promotion, compensation or
performance evaluation data of various public employees over which the governmental body has
jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The Committee will discuss and may take action on
performance and/or compensation.

13. Recognizing Pat Bruno Upon Her Retirement from Bayfield County. Discussion and possible
action.
