The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, May 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the
County Board Room of the Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin. The agenda for this meeting is as
follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person.
3. Approval of the April 8th Meeting Minutes.
4. Spring Timber Sale Bid Opening. Discussion and action regarding the opening, recording and
preliminary awarding of the spring timber sales.
5. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on report(s) only.
a) Forestry (all updates):
a. 2019 Budget.
b. Stewardship Grant.
c. Oak Wilt – Firewood Permit.
d. Emerald Ash Borer.
e. Trespass in Iron River.
b) Parks (update).
c) Trails and Recreation (all updates):
a. Motorized Trails.
b. Non-Motorized Trails.

6. Recreational Use Request. North End Ski Club. Discussion and possible action regarding a
request to host the North End Trail Run event on existing trails located in Cable. The event
would be held on June 1, 2019.
7. 2018 Accomplishment Report. Discussion and possible action regarding the report.
8. Joseph LeBouton, DNR Representative, Comments.
