The agenda for this meeting is as follows: 1.Call to Order. 2.Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 3.Approval of the August 12th Meeting Minutes. 4.Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible action on the report(s) only. a)Forestry (all updates): a.2019 Budget. b.Certification Audit. c.Oak Wilt. d.CFL Withdrawal/Trespass in Iron River. b)Parks (update). c)Trails and Recreation (all updates): a.Motorized Trails. b.Non-Motorized Trails. i.Siskiwit Falls. ii.Fire Hill. c.Yurts. d.Events. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to access property located in the Town of Port Wing. 6.Recreational Use Request. Iron River Area Chamber of Commerce. Discussion and possible action regarding the use of county forest land in the Town of Hughes for a dog sledding event. 7.County Conservation Aid Grant. Discussion and possible action regarding the annual application for the 50/50 cost share State grant. 8.Recreational Opportunities on the County Forest. Discussion regarding potential future recreational improvements on county forest land. 9.2020 Budget. Discussion and possible action regarding the Department’s submitted 2020 operating budget. 10.Joseph LeBouton, DNR Representative, Comments.
