The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, September 14th at 6:00 p.m.
This meeting will be held in-person in the Bayfield County Board Room at 117 East 5th St., in Washburn.
The public will be able to participate in-person or remotely via voice either by using the internet link or
phone number listed below (a maximum of 15 members of the public will be allowed in-person). Please
contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-373-6114 if you have access questions prior to the

2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person.
3. Approval of the August 10th Meeting Minutes.
4. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on the report(s) only.

b. Carbon Offset/Marketing.
c. CFL Withdrawal/Red Cliff Land Sale.
d. Stewardship Land Acquisition Project.

5. 2021 Forestry and Parks Department Budget Narrative. Discussion and possible action regarding
the 2021 budget narrative.
6. Salvage Timber Sale Summary. Discussion and possible action regarding the results of the
salvage timber sale offering.
7. County Conservation Aid Grant. Discussion and possible action regarding the annual application
for the 50/50 cost share State grant.
8. 2021 Campground and Yurt Pricing and Policy Modifications. Discussion and possible action
regarding the following items:
a. 2021 Camping, boat launch and boat mooring prices at Twin Bear, Delta Lake and Big
Rock campgrounds.
b. 2021 seasonal camping structure at Twin Bear and Delta Lake campgrounds.
c. 2021-2023 campground caretaker contract renewal.
d. 2021 pricing for all three yurt locations.
9. Bayfield County Forest 2021-2035 Comprehensive Land Use Plan Revision. Discussion and
possible action on the following items:
a. Review of public comment.
b. Remaining timeline.
10. Joseph LeBouton, DNR Representative, Comments.
