Dear Health Board Members,
There is a Health Board meeting scheduled for Monday, April 15, 2013, 4:00 pm. in the Health
Department Resource Room located in the Bayfield County Annex Building, Washburn, WI. If
you are unable to attend this meeting, please call the Health Department and let me know.
Any person wishing to attend who, because of a disability, requires special accommodations,
should contact the Bayfield County Health Department office at 715-373-6109, at least 24 hours

3. Adoption of Agenda
4. Environmental Health:

Review number of inspections, pre-inspections, re-inspections and other activities done
by the environmental health staff.
b. Change to Temporary Food Event Licensing
Proposal to change the current “per event” fee to a “one-time” per year fee. This change
would reduce the number of inspections the Sanitarians perform and also increase
revenue by charging the higher one-time fee.

UW-Oshkosh students are no longer available and funding has been cut. Do we want to
continue the program internally.
5. Budget Update
a. 2012 final budget update

departments are required to do a Community Health Improvement Plan. The IRS is now

9. St. Louis and WALHDAB Presentation Update:
Bayfield County Health Department along with Ashland County Health Department, Kevin
Stranberg from Memorial Medical Center and Julie Hladky from UW Population Health
