Dear Health Board Members,
There is a Health Board meeting scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2014, at 4:00 pm. in the
EOC located in the Bayfield County Annex Building, Washburn, WI. If you are unable to
attend this meeting, please call the Health Department and let me know.
Any person wishing to attend who, because of a disability, requires special accommodations,
should contact the Bayfield County Health Department office at 715-373-6109, at least 24 hours
before the scheduled meeting time, so appropriate arrangements can be made.

2. Approval of December 16, 2013 Meeting Minutes
3. Adoption of Agenda
4. Update on the NW Wisconsin Tobacco Free Coalition Activities for 2013: The update will
include coalition activities for 2013, other tobacco products, the Backpack Tobacco Act legislation,
and pregnancy and smoking rates. Handouts will be given to the board at the meeting
5. Preliminary End of Year Budget Report for 2013: A preliminary report of expenses and revenues
for 2013 will be presented to the Health Board. Since all revenues for 2013 have not been received at
this time, this will not be a final report.
6. WI Great Lakes Beach Monitoring Annual Report for 2102 Beach Season: The BEACH Act
provides funding opportunities for coastal and Great Lakes states, territories, and tribes to develop
and conduct beach pathogen monitoring and public notification programs at their coastal beaches.
The activities described in this report were conducted during Federal Fiscal Year 2012 (October 1,
2011 through September 30, 2012).
7. Update on WI Well Woman Program (WWWP) Funding Changes and Planning for 2014: In
2014 local health departments will no longer be managing the WWWP. The program will be
managed by large medical entities such as Marshfield Clinic. Those entities will receive the funding
we had received to manage the program.
8. School-based Influenza Vaccination Summary: A breakdown of private and public flu
vaccinations administered in Ashland County and Bayfield County school districts.
9. Family Planning Update: Update Health Board on the progress to date of gathering information on
management of the project in other counties. Update on the progress in developing policies and
procedures.
10. Next Meeting Date: Monday, April 21, 2014 at 4:00 pm in the EOC
