If you are unable to attend this meeting, please call the Health Department and let me know. Any person wishing to attend who, because of a disability, requires special accommodations, should contact the Bayfield County Health Department office at 715-373-6109, at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time, so appropriate arrangements can be made. *** AGENDA *** 1. Call the Meeting to Order 2. Approval of April 20, 2015 Meeting Minutes 3. Public Comment 4. Adoption of Agenda 5. E-Cigarette Ordinance Requested by Strand for a Future Meeting The Board of Health received a presentation on E-cigarettes at the April 20 meeting. Cassie Grube, American Lung Association Tobacco coordinator discussed public health issues related to e-cigs and vaping. It was suggested that the board continue to monitor this issue and potentially draft an ordinance to match the smoke-free grounds ordinance. Pre-emption bill is pending. 6. Ordinance on CAFO’s Requested by Strand for Discussion Board Chair Fred Strand requested that a CAFO ordinance remain on the agenda for discussion and potential draft document development. 7. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Fees Increase for Environmental Health Inspection Program Michelle Dale, RS will discuss pending state legislation and implications to local agent program. This is an action item with a request to increase current fee scale. 8. Work Plan for County Wide Well Sampling Program Michelle Dale, RS will discuss draft plan of a county-wide baseline well sampling program work plan and timeline. 9. Human Health Hazard Ordinance Discussion Bayfield County Health Department does not have a Human Health Hazard (HHH) Ordinance and investigates and does enforcement activities under State Statute 254.59. Advantages of instituting a county HHH ordinance, process and proposal will be presented. 10. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding 2015 Budget Amendment The Health Department has had changes to grant amounts plus additional grants have been awarded since the 2015 budget was adopted. Resolution will be presented to Board of Health for their recommendation to forward on to the Full County Board for approval. 11. Next Meeting Date: Monday, August 17, 2015 at 4:00 pm in the EOC. 12.
