The meeting was called to order by Chairman Shawn Miller at 11:04 a. m. Members present were Shawn Miller, Brett Rondeau, and Wayne Williams Absent: Harold Maki and Dennis Pocernich Also present were Mark Abeles-Allison, Bayfield County Administrator; Scott Galetka, Bayfield County Land Records Administrator; Lynn Divine, Bayfield County Real Property Lister, Perri Shuga, Bayfield County Tax Deed Clerk, County Board Member Neil Schultz; and Jack Martensen, Greg Martinsen and Brian Mrnak. 2.Motion regarding the minutes of the May 7, 2013 meeting. A motion was made by Rondeau and seconded by Williams to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried. 3.Motion by Rondeau seconded by Williams to enter into executive session with all parties present pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating the potential sale of Parcel #04-020-2-47-05-11-2 02-000-12000(Ag Station Parcel) and potential acquisition of land for a new forestry building. Motion carried at 11:06 a.m. Motion by Rondeau seconded by Williams to move out of executive session at 11:34 a.m. Motion carried. Motion by Rondeau to sell the entire seven acre parcel, Tax ID #35287 in the Town of Eileen to the Martinsens for the price of $2000/acre with the condition that the Martinsens convey 1 acre (plus or minus as necessary to deal with safety concerns) to Brian Mrnak at no cost for the purpose of a permanent easement and that no buildings will be constructed on the entire parcel. Seconded by Williams. Motion carried. 4.Discussion and Possible Action on Transfer of Parcel ID Numbers to the City of Bayfield: #31714 & 31806. Galetka reported that due to the fact the parcels were taken In Rem, the County is not allowed to “give” the parcels to the City of Bayfield as stated in the May 07 minutes, but must get a nominal sum for the parcels. Motion by Rondeau seconded by Williams to grant the parcels to the City of Bayfield for the sum of $1.00 plus deed and filing fees. Motion carried. 5.Reports: Shuga reported that Tax ID #28799 in the Town of Port Wing had sold via the online auction service for the price of $6200 on June 27, 2013. Deed work is in process. Abeles-Allison reported that the Ag Station parcel had been surveyed and U:\Development & Land Sales Minutes 082110.doc Page 2 of 2 sold. 6.Meeting adjourned at 11:44.
