Development and Land Sales Committee
May 26, 2015
Bayfield County Board Room – Bayfield County Courthouse – Washburn, WI
1. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rusty Williams at 5:17 p.m.
Members present:Wayne Williams, Harold Maki, Shawn Miller, Dennis Pocernich, Brett Rondeau
Others present: Delores Kittleson, Kenneth Jardine, Fred Strand, John Bennett, Mark Abeles-
Allison – Bayfield County Administrator, Scottie Sandstrom – Bayfield County
Economic Development Director, Carmen Novak – Bayfield County GIS Technician
2. Discussion and possible action regarding minutes of the April 21, 2015 meeting. A motion was made by
Miller and seconded by Pocernich to approve the April 21, 2015 minutes as presented. Motion carried.
3. The committee may enter in and out of closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) for
the purpose of negotiating the sale of property which the county currently owns in the Town of Eileen.
A motion was made by Miller and seconded by Pocernich to move into closed session at 5:20 p.m. Motion
carried. A motion was made by Williams and seconded by Pocernich to move out of closed session at 5:40
p.m. Motion carried.
4. Action regarding items discussed in closed session. A motion was made by Pocernich and seconded by
Strand to approve the sale of property which the county owns in the Town of Eileen. Motion carried.
