The meeting was called to order by Brett Rondeau at 3:30 p.m. Members present were Brett Rondeau, Marty Milanowski, Larry Fickbohm, Fred Strand and Tom Snilsberg by phone Also present were Mark Ables-Allison, Bayfield County Administrator; Scott Galetka, Bayfield County Land Records Administrator; Perri Shuga Campbell, Bayfield County Tax Deed Clerk and Ernest L’Hereux, a property owner adjacent to Tax ID #35979 2. Motion regarding minutes of the May 26, 2020 meeting. Motion by Milanowski, seconded by Fickbohm to approve the minutes as presented. 3. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding IN Rem Parcel #35979 in the Town of Tripp. Scott explained the issues with the parcel that include encroachment of a building belonging to Ernest L’Hereux; that the lot is substandard in size and no access from County Hwy A. Three options given to the committee were 1. Sell as is with encroachments, 2. Purchase property from L’Hereux to allow access and road frontage, 3. File for adverse possession. Mr. L’Hereux spoke to the Committee and said he would be willing to purchase the parcel, but not at the current appraised value of $26,500. Motion by Strand, seconded by Milanowski to put the parcel out for auction at the appraised value. Motion carried 4. Discussion and Possible action regarding selling at appraised value the following parcels forfeited through the In-Rem Process: TaxID #31397; 18997 and 6638. Scott explained details regarding the parcels. Mark recapped various issues regarding each parcel. Motion by Strand, Seconded by Milanowski to sell the parcels at the appraised value.
