Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Rondeau. II. Minutes: Motion (Williams, Good) to accept minutes from the February 4, 2010 committee meeting. Motion Carried. III. Public Comment: o Al Bochler would like to see AIS boat inspections during the week. IV. Executive Session: Motion (Jardine, Williams) at 4:08 to move into Executive Session pursuant to §19.85(1)(g): conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. Roll Call Vote: All Yes. Motion Carried. Motion (Jardine, Beeksma) at 4:42 to move out of Executive Session. Roll Call Vote: All Yes. Motion Carried. V. Discussion and Possible Action on policy for Use of Right-of-Way for Public Corridor. Motion (Good, Jardine) to accept Policy Regarding Use of Right-of-Way for Public Corridor and send it to the Full County Board for approval. Motion Carried. VI. Approval of 2010-2015 Local Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. Motion (Jardine, Williams) to approve the plan and advance it to the Full County Board for approval. Motion Carried. VII. Discussion and Possible Action on Twin Bear Campground Need for Host Position and Additional Boat Launch Inspections: Motion (Jardine, Beeksma) to postpone discussion on need for host position until the next meeting. Discussion took place with Williams agreeing then excusing himself from the meeting at 5:25. Motion Carried. Motion (Jardine, Good) to allow Rondeau & Motiff to amend the campground contract as necessary regarding additional boat launch inspections prior to the next committee meeting. Motion Carried. VIII. Parks:  The fish sticks article was distributed.  Management contracts have been signed with Freid and Garrett.  Freid wants to have someone else be the “host” but that is not how our contract is set up. The “host” duties are part of her contract and she is supposed to be the person onsite. If she has someone else be the host, then why do we have a manager that gets paid for those duties? B. Trails: Motiff will attend a WATVA Land Managers meeting in Wausau on April 16 and will bring UTV information back. C. Marketing:  The new website is coming soon.  A new Group Tour brochure has been developed.  Motiff is working with Mary McPhetridge on a new 2-county map for use at the NGLVC. X. Any Other Matters: Include LUV/UTV Pilot Program discussion on next agenda. XI. Adjournment: There being no further business, Motion (Beeksma, Jardine) to adjourn at 6:00 p.m. Motion Carried.
