BAYFIELD COUNTY FAIR COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING
October 29, 2013 – 5:00 p.m.

Minutes
1. Call To Order
Dee Kittleson, Chair, called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.
Committee Members present: Marco Bichanich, Shawn Miller, Jim Crandall and Dee Kittleson,
Committee Member absent: Harold Maki
Others present: Kenneth “Bucky” Jardine, County Board Supervisor; Mark Abeles Allison, Administrator; Mary
Motiff, Director and Theresa Kummerow, Secretary
2. The Bayfield County Fair Committee may entertain a motion to move in and out of Executive
Session pursuant to Statute 19.85 (1)(e) Conducting other specified public business, whenever
competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session:
A motion was made (Miller / Bichanich) to move into Closed Session pursuant to §19.85 (1)(e) Conducting
other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The
following individuals were asked to stay and to participate in the closed session: Mark Abeles-Allison,
Kenneth “Bucky” Jardine, Mary Motiff and Theresa Kummerow. Motion Carried.
A motion was made (Crandall/Bichanich) to move back into Open Session. Motion Carried.
3. Discussion and Possible Action on contract with Carnival - Spectrum Entertainment, LLC
A motion was made (Crandall / Bichanich) to authorize Motiff to proceed with the contract with Spectrum
Entertainment, LLC. Motion Carried.
4. Adjournment
Meeting adjourned at 5:25 pm.
