This meeting will be held in-person. The agenda for this meeting is as follows: 1. Call to Order. 2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 3. Approval of the August 8th Meeting Minutes. 4. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible action on the report(s) only. a) Forestry (all updates): a. Carbon Project. i. Verification. ii. Carbon Reserve Fund. b. Land Acquisition Project(s). c. 2023 Budget Modifications. d. Trespass in Town of Hughes. b) Campgrounds and Day Use Parks (update). c) Trails and Recreation (all updates): a. Motorized Trails. b. Non-Motorized Trails. c. Yurts. d. Events. d) Delta Landfill (update). 5. Recreational Use Request. Ashwabay Outdoor Education Foundation. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to construct new cross-country ski trail in the Town of Bayview. 6. Recreational Use Agreement. Cable Namakagon Historical Society. Discussion and possible action regarding a recreational use agreement that recognizes the location of the old Frels School in the Town of Cable. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to convert roughly 4 miles of county forest roads to town roads in the Town of Bell. 8. Land Acquisition. Discussion and possible action regarding the acquisition of a roughly 1 acre lot in the Town of Barnes. 9. Event Request. Lifetime Triathlon Series, LLC. Discussion and possible action regarding a request to host the 39th annual Chequamegon Mountain Bike Festival on September 17, 2022 in the Town of Cable. 10. Committee Members Discussion. Discussion regarding matters of the Forestry and Parks Department. 11. Joseph LeBouton, DNR Representative, Comments.
