The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
in the County Board Room of the Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin. This meeting will be held in-
person.
The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person.
3. Approval of the September 12th Meeting Minutes.
4. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on the report(s) only.
a) Forestry (all updates):
a. Carbon Project.
b. Land Acquisition Project(s).
c. 2023 Budget Modifications.
d. Trespass in Town of Hughes.
b) Campgrounds and Day Use Parks (update).
a. 2023 Seasonal Camping Selection.
c) Trails and Recreation (all updates):
a. Motorized Trails.
b. Non-Motorized Trails.
c. Yurts.
d. Events.
d) Delta Landfill (update).
5. Fall Timber Sale Offering. Discussion and possible action regarding the approval and letting of
the 2022 fall timber sales.
6. Forest Carbon Offset Reserve Fund (FCOR). Discussion regarding a proposal to establish an
FCOR.

7. Committee Members Discussion. Discussion regarding matters of the Forestry and Parks
Department.
