The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
in the County Board Room of the Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin. This meeting will be held in-
person.
The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 30 minutes total.
3. Approval of the February 13th Meeting Minutes.
4. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on the report(s) only.
a) Forestry (all updates):
a. Carbon Project.
b. Land Acquisition Project(s).
c. Sustainable Forestry Grant.
d. Lake States Bat Habitat Conservation Plan.
b) Campgrounds and Day Use Parks (update).
c) Trails and Recreation (all updates):
a. Motorized Trails.
i. DNR Winter Storm Damage Grant.
b. Non-Motorized Trails.
c. Yurts.
d. Events.
d) Delta Landfill (update).
5. Access Permit Request. Jeffrey and Kimberly Nelson. Discussion and possible action regarding
a request for a 10-year, temporary access permit in the Town of Iron River.
6. Access Permit Request. Brett Diersen. Discussion and possible action regarding a request for a
10-year, temporary access permit in the Town of Iron River.
7. Carbon Offset Reserve Fund (COR). Discussion and possible action regarding the COR.

amendment to the 2022 and 2023 budget to address the Delta Landfill project.
