The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Bayfield County Board may be present at the meeting to gather information about a subject over which they have decision-making responsibility. This constitutes a meeting of the Bayfield County Board pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v.Greendale Village Bd., 173 Wis. 2d 553, 494 N.W.2d 408(1993), and must be noticed as such, although the County Board will not take any formal action at this meeting. Sandstrom called the meeting to order, 1:02pm 2. Rondeau, Abeles-Allison made the motion to approve the minutes, motion carried. 3. Sandstrom provide an update on current businesses investigating the area. 4. Abeles-Allison provided an update on the wetland delineation. RFPs are out now and will be back next month in advance of the next meeting. 5. Sandstrom raised the issue of sanitary sewer at the site. The committee discussed:  A single system for the park: onsite or connection with a municipal system.  A system for every business The committee expressed some hesitancy with a major expenditure prior to business commitments. The Committee also discussed the idea of providing incentives for private sewer systems. Cedar corporation will be asked for more information on these options. 6. Sandstrom discussed a storage application at the Business Park. Topics discussed included:  Job creation / concern that no jobs are associated with this.  What is the benefit to the county / does this create jobs / is this economic development?  Consider allowing them to locate in a parcel farther back.  Concern about impact on federal grants if jobs are a factor.  Should we set a certain number of jobs that must be created? 9. Draft Park Plan: This was delayed until the wetland delineation is complete. 10. Business Park Infrastructure:  Leo noted US Grants for Broadband as to whether these could be used for building infrastructure  Sandstrom raised the possibility of USDA funds, contact is Stan Gruzinzki, working on setting up a meeting now.  Members noted the importance of comprehensive plan in place. 12. Business Park Signage: Sandstrom passed out a Signage Pricing Sheet. Estimated cost will be $1000, including sign, install and infrastructure cost share. Rondeau, Boles approved business park signing sheet proposal of $1000 per sign. Motion carried. The next meeting date will be May 4 at 1pm. MEETING ADJ. 2:15
