Dear Committee Members:
This letter is written to inform you of the Bayfield County Ad Hoc Business Park
Planning Committee Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 4, 2017,
1:30pm, at the Town of Eileen Meeting Building, Bayfield County Business Park,
Ashland, WI. The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Bayfield County Board may be present at the meeting to gather
information about a subject over which they have decision-making responsibility. This constitutes a meeting of
the Bayfield County Board pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v.Greendale Village Bd., 173 Wis. 2d 553, 494
N.W.2d 408(1993), and must be noticed as such, although the County Board will not take any formal action at
this meeting.

Bayfield County Ad Hoc Business Park Planning Committee Meeting

Rondeau, Cody Bohl.
Members Excused: Mike Bebeau, Leo Carlson

PUBLIC COMMENT: None
Minutes of September 7, 2016: Postpone action on October 13. Rondeau made the motion
approve the minutes, seconded by Bohl. Motion carried. Table September 7 minutes until the
next meeting, Rondeau/Bohl. Motion carried.
KV Tech Presentation:
Isac Dymesich shared information regarding KV Tech, the family and business history in the
region. In 2004 they began installing spray foam insulation with residential work. In 2010 they
moved into sand and gravel. Expanding insulation work in all sectors. Material quantity is
important for price breaks. Looking for a location to stage materials, close to customers.
Looking for ten acres that has all season road access. Wholesale leanings. Fleet maintenance
work. Working to determine size of market. Important to have visibility but proximity to road is
not critical. 11 current employees’ possible expansion to 15 in 24 months. Planning is still
underway. Examining liabilities, cash flow. Looking at a Superior Sauna sized structure by
2018. Proceed with purchase of the property / site plan / site prep / stockpile of materials. Setup
in 2017 first half. Utilities: domestic water and sewer, single phase electric, natural gas, fiber.
Committee will revisit in January.
Marketing Document:
Scottie to work on opening page, present to board on November 15.
Start planning a marketing kickoff for the Business Park.
Plan Implementation:
1. ROW establishment
2. Work with town on rezone
3. Road design
(steps 2-4)
These three topics were priorities for the next 4 months.
2017 Plan Recommendations:
Same as above
2016 Accomplishments at Business Park
Committee will work on summary document for early 2017.
Next Meeting Date and Time:
January meeting date. January 4. Change meeting time to 1:30.
