Dear Committee Members:
This letter is written to inform you of the Bayfield County Ad Hoc Business Park Planning Committee
Meeting scheduled for Wednesday November 13th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Town of Eileen Meeting
Building, Bayfield County Business Park, Ashland, WI. The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Bayfield County Board may be present at the meeting to gather information about a subject over which they
have decision-making responsibility. This constitutes a meeting of the Bayfield County Board pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v.Greendale Village Bd., 173
Wis. 2d 553, 494 N.W.2d 408(1993), and must be noticed as such, although the County Board will not take any formal action at this meeting.
AGENDA
1. Call to Order
2. Public Comment
3. Minutes from July 10th, 2019 and Notes from October 16th, 2019
4. New signage for the corner of State Hwy 137 and State Farm Road
a) Approval of the design and purchase of the header sign (Including installation)
b) Update the Superior Sauna sign style
5. Current status of new advertising signs
a) Removal date for small placard signs (Weather related)
b) Removal or remain of the banner signs on the poles at the corners of the lots (Weather related)
c) Interest received from the banner/placard signs. An email has been received to date.
6. Business Attractions Opportunities (New and existing)
7. Events used for additional exposure
a) Ground breaking Street naming ceremony for Argenbright Road
b) Summer 2020 – plans for a general event on site
8. Update on KV Tech
9. Press Release(s) ideas
a) New banners and placards have been placed for advertising
b) Land for Sale – some already zoned commercial, other land can be rezoned for specific use.
10. Updates from members
