CHILDREN’S COMMUNITY OPTIONS PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING Notes
Bayfield County Courthouse via Teams Meeting & Phone
Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
Committee Members Present: Hayley Weyers, Michelle Lampson, Anna Hanson, Sherri Paulson (by Teams)
Staff Present: Heather Gilbertson (by Teams), Mary Anich
Call to order: Weyers called the meeting to order at 10:14.
Discussion and Possible Action - Review/adoption of minutes from November 14, 2023, meeting:
Motion by Weyers, seconded by Lampson to approve the November 14, 2023, meeting minutes.
Motion passed.
Committee Binders:
Review of Sections: Consumer Grievances, Department Budget, and Resources
o Weyers discussed the main topics for each of the three sections that were reviewed from the
CCOP Committee Binder.
o The committee will reference the binder when talking about the budget.
Committee Participants:
Enrollment Report: The program has 42 active enrollments and 6 active referrals which appear very much
eligible for the programs.
The six referrals are delayed due to Opperman and Weyers being at full capacity with participants.
Other Informational Items:
Weyers was promoted to Mid-Level Manager / PT Case Manager.
Posted for a FT Case Manager.
CCOPAC is officially meeting every other month in 2024.
Invite Sara Wartman to give a presentation on WIC.
Possible Upcoming presentation on SSI/SSDI.
Possible Behavioral Health presentation.
