Staffing Updates: Anich relayed that the three newer hires were busy training and doing great! She noted that active recruiting for the last CPS opening has been put on hold until these three are trained to a point where they can work independently. Hoping for May timeframe. The current staff are enjoying their Family Services teammates! Program reports: WI Learn is a new Child Protective Services (CPS) onboarding training program that began 1/1/2023. New CPS workers throughout the State are assigned to a cohort (group) to complete the training together virtually. Every two weeks members join together in a Community Huddle to cover different topics. The training is proving very valuable as all workers are learning the same information and networking. The training period is the first six months of employment. Only the latest hire is currently completing the WI Learn training. Informational Items: Anich explained that the Behavioral Health workers who are now overseen by Tom Croteau in the Behavioral Health Programs section are not covered by an Advisory Committee and could possibly be added under the FSAC.
