K:\Agendas and Minutes\CCOP Advisory Committee\Minutes\2024 CCOPAC minutes\2024-05-14 CCOPAC Minutes-draft.docx BAYFIELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES CHILDREN’S COMMUNITY OPTIONS PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Bayfield County Courthouse Conference Room A & Remote via Teams Meeting or Phone Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Committee Members Present: Hayley Weyers, Michelle Lampson, Anna Hanson and Sherri Paulson (by Teams). Others Present: Hailey BeBeau (BC BH Case Manager), Liv Garramone (BC CST Case Manager), and Nina Bucher (BC Support Staff). Call to order and Introductions: Weyers called the meeting to order at 10:08am and introductions were made. Discussion and Possible Action - Review/adoption of minutes from March 12, 2024, meeting: Motion by Lampson, seconded by Weyers to approve the March 12, 2024 meeting minutes as is. All were in favor, motion carried. Elections: Weyers relayed that the new CST (Coordinated Services Team) program’s advisory committee will be merging with the CCOPAC in the fall when it is established since it also services children. Therefore, elections may need to be redone at that time. Discussion and Possible Action – Nominations/Elections for Chairperson: Lampson nominated Weyers as Chairperson. Hanson made a motion to elect Weyers as Chairperson and a vote was taken. motion carried. Discussion and Possible Action – Nominations/Elections for Vice Chairperson: Weyers nominated Lampson as Vice Chairperson. Hanson made a motion to elect Lampson as Vice Chairperson and a vote was taken. motion carried. Guest Presentation Series- Hailey BeBeau, Behavioral Health Case Manager: BeBeau explained that she and Bayfield County’s other Behavioral Health Case Manager, Jamie Allen, field referrals and facilitate voluntary and involuntary services to residents in need to get them connected to help before a crisis is reached. This involves working closely with law enforcement, schools, the court system/jail, BH service providers, other County/Tribal programs to get clients what they need. Clients may be any age and services may include housing, medications, application/enrollment into long term care programs, therapy. The main categories they work on are:  Emergency Detentions and 3rd Party Petitions (involuntary for those a threat to themselves or others).  Case Management  Collaboration  Crisis response/support  Outreach Draft minutes, scheduled for final approval at the next regular CCOPAC meeting. Other Informational Items: Weyers provided information on six area camps that offer respite and other types of camp: Camp AUSM, Camp Daniel, Easter Seals Camp, WI Lions Camp, Timber Top Camp, and True Friends.
