BAYFIELD COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
SEPTEMBER 21, 2006 AT 1:00 P.M.
BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE
WASHBURN, WISCONSIN
The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of
Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in
the Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to
the following:
Joshua & Brenda Rowley request a conditional use permit to operate a sand & gravel
pit on their 28.65–acre parcel (ID# 0402624605214030001000), described as part
of the SW ¼ of the SE ¼, Section 21, Township 46 North, Range 5 West, Town of Kelly,
Bayfield County, WI. Included in this request will be the requirement(s) of the
reclamation plan, which will be addressed separately.
Be advised any conditions placed on the reclamation plan shall pertain to the
reclamation plan only, and any conditions placed on the nonmetallic site shall pertain to
the conditional use application. (Reclamation plan available for review, please call the Planning and
Zoning Dept.)
Joshua & Brenda Rowley request a conditional use permit to operate a sand & gravel
pit on their 74.91–acre parcel (ID# 0402624605281010001000 & 0402624605
281020001000) described as part of the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ and the NW ¼ of the NE
¼, all in Section 28, Township 46 North, Range 5 West, Town of Kelly, Bayfield County,
WI. Included in this request will be the requirement(s) of the reclamation plan, which will
be addressed separately.

reclamation plan only, and any conditions placed on the nonmetallic site shall pertain to

David Oreskovich, owner and Nels Ritola, agent are requesting a conditional use
permit to operate a sand/gravel pit (include screening) on a 30–acre parcel (part of ID#’s
026104602990 and 026104603) described as the S ½ of the NW ¼ of the SW ¼,
and the SW ¼ of the NE ¼ of the SW ¼, Section 22, Township 46 North, Range 5 West,
Town of Kelly, Bayfield County, WI. Included in this request will be the requirement(s) of
the reclamation plan, which will be addressed separately.

Dave & Debbie Schedler are petitioning for a zoning district map amendment on their
22.74acre parcel (ID# 024107905000), located in part of Gov’t Lot 5, Section 28,
Township 47 N, Range 8 West, Town of Iron River, WI, Bayfield County, WI from
Residential1(R1) to Forestry1 (F1) (metes and bounds description available in the Planning and
Zoning Office).
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Immediately after the
public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly
meeting.
