NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BAYFIELD COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
NOVEMBER 16, 2006 AT 1:00 P.M.
BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE
WASHBURN, WISCONSIN
The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of Supervisors will hold a
public hearing on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the Bayfield
County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to the following:
Donald & June Frey are petitioning for a zoning district map amendment on their 6acre parcel (ID
#014103301000) located in the S ½ of the S ½ of the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ West of Lenawee Rd,
Section 8, Township 50 North, Range 7 West, Town of Clover, Bayfield County, WI from Agricultural
1 (Ag1) to ResidentialRecreational Business
(RRB).
Jon McKinney is petitioning for a zoning district map amendment on his 3.38acre parcel (ID #012
105106000) described as part of the NW ¼ of the NW ¼, W of the Road, Section 19, Township 43
N, Range 7 W, Town of Cable, Bayfield County, WI from Residential1 (R1) to Commercial (C).
Nels Ritola, agent is requesting a conditional use permit to operate a sand/gravel pit (also to include
screening) on his 30–acre parcel (part of ID#’s 026104602990 and 026104603) described as the S
½ of the NW ¼ of the SW ¼, and the SW ¼ of the NE ¼ of the SW ¼, Section 22, Township 46 North,
Range 5 West, Town of Kelly, Bayfield County, WI. Included in this request will be the requirement(s)
of the reclamation plan, which will be addressed separately.
Be advised any conditions placed on the reclamation plan shall pertain to the reclamation plan only,
and any conditions placed on the nonmetallic site shall pertain to the conditional use application.

Impact Seven, Inc., owner and William Bay, agent are requesting a conditional use permit to
operate a machine shop on a 72acre parcel (ID#’s 006100201, 00610403, 006100310, & 006
100504) described as the SE ¼ of the NE ¼, the SW ¼ of the NE ¼, the NW ¼ of the SE ¼, and the
NE ¼ of the SE ¼, Section 1, Township 50 N, Range 4 W, and part of Gov’t Lot 3, Section 6,
Township 50 N, Range 3 W, Town of Bayfield, Bayfield County, WI.
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Immediately after the public
hearing, the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting.
