BAYFIELD COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
JULY 26, 2007 AT 1:00 P.M.
BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE
WASHBURN, WISCONSIN
The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of
Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the
Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to the
following:
Sally D. Bowers is petitioning for a zoning district map amendment on her 3acre
parcel (ID #014107404) described as the East 200’ of the Northwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter, Section 28, Township 50 North, Range 7 West, Town of Clover,
which lies North of the Cranberry River, Bayfield County, WI from Ag1 to RRB.
Joseph A. & Patricia A. Bruneau are petitioning for a zoning district map amendment
on their .50acre parcel (ID #014103206) located in part of the Southeast Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter, Section 8, Township 50 North, Range 7 West, Town of Clover,
Bayfield County, WI from Ag1 to RRB.
A petition by Karl Kastrosky, Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Administrator,
on behalf of the Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee, requesting
amendments to the Bayfield County Zoning Ordinance, including the following:
1. Elimination of underlying land use and shoreland/wetland use fees.
2. Increasing conditional use application fee from $240 to $350.
3. Increasing Class A and Class B special use application fees from $75 and
$165 respectively to $175 and $250 respectively (including fees for signs
requiring Class A special use permits).
4. Listing “electric generating windmill (commercial)” as a conditional use in I,
A1, A2, F1, and F2 zoning districts
5. Technical clarifications and/or corrections to Sections 1314(a)(25) and
(26), 13127(c)(2), 13129(b)(3), 13132(e), 13161(f), and 13162(a).
Copies of the petition and proposed amendments are available upon request
from the Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Office in Washburn, Wisconsin.
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Immediately after
the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly
meeting.
