NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BAYFIELD COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
MAY 15 , 2008 AT 4:00 P.M.
BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE
WASHBURN, WISCONSIN
The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the Bayfield
County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to the following:
Wayne Nelson is requesting a conditional use permit for a non-metallic mine (gravel pit) on
a 20–acre parcel (ID# 04-046-2-51-04-22-1-04-000-20000) located in the SE ¼ of the NE
¼, Section 22, Township 51 North, Range 4 West, Town of Russell, Bayfield County, WI.
The request is to include crushing and washing operations. Included in this request will be the requirement(s) of the reclamation plan, which will be addressed separately.
Baxter Equity, LLC., Barb Best, agent is requesting a conditional use permit for a short term rental accommodation of two (2) units on a 0.70–acre parcel (ID# 04-034-2-43-06-13-
2-00-291-50000) and described as lot no. 2 of CSM no. 351 and located in the NW ¼,
Section 13, Township 43 North, Range 6 West, Town of Namakagon, Bayfield County, WI.
The request is specific to units referred to as “cozy cottage” and “lake breeze”.
John Kukuska, Barb Best, agent is requesting a conditional use permit for a short term
rental accommodation of two (2) units (duplex) on a 8.9–acre parcel (ID# 04-021-2-44-06-35-4-05-003-20000) located in government lot no. 3 and described as lot no. 1 of CSM no.
165, Section 35, Township 44 North, Range 6 West, Town of Grand View, Bayfield County,
WI.
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Immediately after the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting.
