NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BAYFIELD COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
SEPTEMBER 16, 2010 AT 4:00 P.M.
BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE
WASHBURN, WISCONSIN
The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of
Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. in
the Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to
the following:
John Flayton has requested a conditional use permit to place a second residence on a
parcel that cannot be subdivided. His property is a 13.413-acre parcel (ID# 04-004-2-
45-09-21-2-05-003-50000), located in Gov’t Lot 3 and 4 of CSM 1037, Sec 21,
Township 45 N, R 9 W, Town of Barnes.
Town of Iron River is petitioning for a zoning district map amendment on a (4+-) -acre
parcel (being part of ID #04-024-2-47-08-08-4-05-003-01000), described as the West
600 feet of Gov’t 3 less V. 208 P. 324; V.482 P. 337; V. 631 P.269; V. 771 P. 527; and
less West 50 feet in V. 918 P. 138, Section 8, Township 47 North, Range 8 West, Town
of Iron River, Bayfield County, WI from Residential-1 to Commercial. (Metes and Bounds
description available at the Planning and Zoning Dept.)
Andy and Marilyn Einspanier are requesting a conditional use permit to expand their
existing resort from 14 units to 18 units in condominium ownership. Their property is a
(26+-) acre parcel (ID#’s 04-016-2-46-07-18-01-02-000-20000; and 04-016-2-46-07-07-
4-03-000-20000), located in part of the SW ¼ of the SE ¼, Section 7, the W ½ of the
NW ¼ NE ¼ including part of Lot 1, CSM 1286 and all of Lot 1, CSM 1703, and part of
the NE ¼ of the NW ¼, Section 18, all in Township 46 North, Range 7 West, Town of
Delta, Bayfield County, WI. Included in this request will be the requirement(s) of an EIA
(Environmental Impact Analysis.
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Any person wishing
to attend who, because of a disability, requires special accommodations, should contact
the Planning and Zoning office at 373-6138, at least 24 hours before the scheduled
meeting time, so appropriate arrangements can be made. Immediately after the public
hearing, the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting.
