BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE WASHBURN, WISCONSIN The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to the following: Stephen Thill is petitioning for a zoning district map amendment located in a shoreland/wetland zone. The parcel is a 7.00-acre parcel (Tax ID #24855), located in part of SE ¼ of the NE 1/4, East of County Trunk D and North of County Trunk M, Section 23, Township 43 North, Range 06 West, Town of Namakagon, Bayfield County, WI from R-RB to Commercial. (* Note: parcels within one thousand (1,000) feet landward of the ordinary high water mark of navigable lakes, ponds or flowages or within three hundred (300) feet landward of the ordinary high water mark of navigable rivers or streams or to the landward side of the floodplain, whichever distance is greater is deemed a shoreland and/or wetland zone. Bayfield County, owner and Mark Abeles-Allison, agent are petitioning for a zoning district map amendment located in a shoreland/wetland zone. The three (3) parcels are as follows: (1) a 34.75-acre parcel (Tax ID # 19013) in V.63 P.447-448, located in that part of the SW ¼ of the SW ¼, in Sec 6, T 47 N, R 8 W, Town of Iron River; (2) a 40.00-acre parcel (Tax ID # 19046) described as NE ¼ of the NW ¼, in V. 10-P.240-241, subject to easements in V.800 P.96; V.236 P.13; V.234 P.204; V.214 P.114 and V.209 P.347 in Sec. 7, T 47 N, R8 W, Town of Iron River; and (3) a 32.34-acre parcel (Tax ID# 19047) in V. 10- P.240-241, subject to easement in V.900 P.86, located in that part of the NW ¼ of the NW ¼, Sec. 7, T 47 N, R 8 W, Town of Iron River all from R-1 & Ag-1 to Municipal. A petition by Robert D.Schierman, Director of Planning and Zoning, on behalf of the Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee, requesting amendments to the Bayfield County Zoning Code including the following: 1. Creation of Section 13-1-4(a)(22m) to define the term “Fire Wood Processing.” 2. Amendment of Section 13-1-21(e)aa. to change the fee schedule so that the fee previously listed for “Rehearing Reconsideration” is changed to a fee for “Refiling & Rehearing” and to create a new fee for “Reopening & Reconsideration”. 3. Amendment to Sections 13-1-102(c)(4), 13-1-102(e)(1), 13-1-102(e)(1) & (2), and 13-1-102A(g)(3) to change the reference contained in each section from “Zoning Administrator” to “Zoning Department”. 5. Deletion of the words “Planning and” from Section 13-1-102A(d)(1). 6. Amendment to Sections 13-1-102A(f)(3)c., 15-1-20 and 15-1-21 to change the reference contained in each section from “Zoning Administrator” to “Zoning Director”. 7. Amendment to Section 13-1-102A(h)(2) to delete the letter subsection letter “c.” and replace it with the letter “b.” and also to change the filing fee referenced in that section from $100.00 to $250.00. 8. Deletion of Section 13-1-103(f) related to Voluntary Settlement Agreements. 9. Amendment to Section 15-1-6(p) to change the definition contained therein from the “Wisconsin Department of Commerce” to the “Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services”. 10. Amendment to Section 15-1-8 to delete “comm 52.63” and change the numbering therein from “81- 85 & 91” to “381-385 & 391”. 11. Amendment throughout all of Title 13, Title 14, Title 15 and Title 16, Code of Ordinances, Bayfield County, Wisconsin to replace all occurrences of the words “zoning department” with “planning and zoning department”, to replace all occurrences of the words “zoning committee” with the words “planning and zoning committee”, and to replace all occurrences of the abbreviation “comm” with the abbreviation “dsps”. All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard.
