BAYFIELD COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
MARCH 19, 2015 AT 4:00 P.M.

WASHBURN, WISCONSIN
The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of
Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. in the
Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to the
following:
Bayfield County, owner and Mark Abeles-Allison, agent request a conditional use
permit to operate an animal boarding facility. Property is described as an 8.12–acre
parcel (part of Tax ID# 15580) located in part of SE ¼ of the NW ¼ lying North and
West of State Hwy 137, Section 11, Township 47 North, Range 5 West, Town of Eileen,
Bayfield County, WI.
Boulder Point, LLC, owner and Craig Haukaas, agent request a conditional use
permit to operate a non-metallic mine. Property is described as a 40–acre parcel (Tax
ID# 29359) described as SW ¼ of the SE ¼, Section 26, Township 51 North, Range 4
West, Town of Russell, Bayfield County, WI. Included in this request will be the
requirement(s) of the reclamation plan, which will be addressed separately.
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Any person wishing
to attend who, because of a disability, requires special accommodations, should contact
the Planning and Zoning office at 373-6138, at least 24 hours before the scheduled
meeting time, so appropriate arrangements can be made. Immediately after the public
hearing, the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting.

The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee may entertain a motion to move in
and out of Executive Session pursuant to §19.85(1)(c); (c) Considering employment,
promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over
which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
