BAYFIELD COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
DECEMBER 21, 2017 AT 4:00 P.M.
BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE
WASHBURN, WISCONSIN
The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of
Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. in
the Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn Wisconsin relative to
the following:
David Simonson & Ronda Thalacker (shoreland w/wetlands) request a conditional use
permit expansion to include land purchased in 2016 for continual operation of the
existing campground (1987 & 2006) which consists of 98 sites at the present time. (no
new sites are being requested with this conditional use expansion). Property is a 1.81-
acre parcel (Tax ID #37332) described as a parcel of land in the E ½ of the SW ¼ of the
SW ¼ and W ½ of the W ½ of the SE ¼ of the SW ¼, in V. 1154 P. 1000-1001 Section
12, Township 46 North, Range 8 West, Town of Delta, Bayfield County, WI. EIA will be
included with this request.
Joseph & Mary Chramosta are petitioning for a zoning district map amendment
located (wetlands). The parcel is a 13.38-acre parcel (Tax ID #18964) described as S
275’ of the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ and NE ¼ of the NW ¼, in V. 929 P. 699 Section 5,
Township 47 North, Range 8 West, Town of Iron River, Bayfield County, WI from
Forestry-1 to Ag-1. Legal Description(s) available in Planning and Zoning Department.
All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing to be heard. Any person wishing
to attend who, because of a disability, requires special accommodations, should contact
the Planning and Zoning office at 373-6138, at least 24 hours before the scheduled
meeting time, so appropriate arrangements can be made. Immediately after the public
hearing, the Planning and Zoning Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting.
