BOARD ROOM, COUNTY COURTHOUSE WASHBURN, WISCONSIN The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee of the County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the Bayfield County Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin relative to the following: A petition by Paul Tribovich, Chairman for the Town of Russell, is requesting a text amendment to the Bayfield County Zoning Ordinance, in the form of modifying Section 13-1-63 for permissible uses only located in the town therefore modifying the existing Overlay District. Section 13-1-63 specific to the town to allow for more restrictive permitting standards and requirements than those currently utilized under the Bayfield County Zoning Ordinance. (Draft language available in Planning and Zoning Office. (1) Amend Section 13-1-63 of the ordinance to delete the definitions of alternative development, certified forester, conservation easement, deed restriction and old growth forest and renumber 5, 6, 7, to 1, 2, 3 (2) Amend Section 13-1-63 of the ordinance by removing (d)(e)(f) & (h), relating to zoning district dimensional requirements and classification, alternative developments, nonconforming parcels and old-growth overlay district and re- letter (g) to (d) Richard and Nancy Sauer are requesting a conditional use permit to operate a microbrewery. Property is Commercial (C); a 0.075–acre parcel (Tax ID# 20431); described as Lot 10, Block 3, Original Plat of Iron River in Doc.# 2022R-594854, Section 7, Township 47 North, Range 8 West, Town of Iron River, Bayfield County, WI. Immediately following the public hearing, the Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee may approve, modify and approve, or disapprove the proposed items and/or proposed amendments and formulate and adopt its recommendations to the Bayfield County Board of Supervisors with respect thereto (if applicable).
