K:\Agendas and Minutes\A&D Advisory Committee\ADAC Minutes\2024-11-19 ADAC - Approved.docx Program Updates  Each Unit within DHS uses different software programs, and it seems they are all changing at the same time. The ADRC and Aging Staff have transferred from using Wellsky to Peer Place. APS now enters elder abuse case information into the WRAPS reporting system and the DOT programing transferred from Blackcat to the Transit Management System. Learning the new systems takes time away from client contact.  The Cable community hosted the very first Repair Café. The program was well attended, and attendees provided positive feedback.  The purpose of a Repair Café is to combat social isolation while using community talents to learn new skills or to allow others to use their skills to fix items. The Social Isolation and Loneliness grant is being used to pilot this initiative and then, if it is successful, we expand to other Bayfield County communities. Rosa added that the pilot was a success; people were able to get things fixed while being socially connected to others in the community.  Wellness on Wheels partnered with Aging and Disability Services to offer thirteen wellness/vaccination events for seniors and adults with disabilities in Bayfield County. Events began October 1, 2024, and run through November 7, 2024.  The Health Dept was able to administer 559 vaccinations to 325 participants at 9 different outreach locations. Moving forward, the Health Department will focus on administering vaccinations for homebound residents. Other (Informational Items)  Sue Rosa reported that the Caregiver Co-op is taking off.  Cornucopia and Cable congregate meal sites are both run by volunteers. These two communities have a great sense of community and help with anything that is needed.  Linder met with Tamarack Health provider in Cable and had a full house of 8 professionals who were excited to receive information about local resources which they can pass on to clients.  Red Cliff is in the process of building 24 senior housing units which should be ready by 2026. 2025 Meeting Dates  February 25, 2025 (joint meeting with Nutrition Advisory Council in the EOC)  May 20, 2025  August 26, 2025  December 9, 2025 Bland adjourned the meeting at 3:55 Minutes respectfully submitted by Heather Gilbertson, Clerk III Motion by Snyder, seconded by Dougherty to approve the 2025 Alzheimer’s and Family Caregiver Support Program Budget.
