Before I can issue the permit, we will need an updated impervious surface form. The grass areas that you park and drive on need to be counted as impervious surface (natural surfaces that are driven on become compacted and count towards the impervious surface). For properties in the Shorelands area, it is important we have an up-to-date impervious surface form so the county can make sure we are complying with state regulations. I've attached an PDF that uses our county's GIS map that approximately shows the impervious areas of the property. These areas/measurements are approximate, but hopefully this is a helpful guide. A reminder, that buildings should be measured from the further extent of the eaves for an impervious surface form (rather than going by the floor space). I've also attached a copy of the impervious surface you submitted to make it easier for you to edit and revise. Once I receive an updated form, I can move forward with issuing your permit.
