Sanitary Permit issuance, if required, needs to occur prior to Land Use Permit issuance. Failure to obtain a permit or starting construction without a permit will result in penalties. The local Town, Village, City, State or Federal agencies may also require permits. The new construction of one- & two-family dwellings requires review and approval by the local Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC) authority. I made a site visit on Friday. The setbacks for the addition look good. When I was reviewing the application, I noticed on page 3 you checked there was a holding tank for sanitary. And then on the following question you noted you'd be using an incinerating toilet in the cabin. When I checked the sanitary records for the property, I found a permit for a camping transfer unit for an RV, which I think is what you probably meant by a holding tank. Before I can approve your Land Use Permit application, you will need to submit a County Sanitary application for an incinerating toilet.
