I am an equal partner with Chris and Amy Parker in this venture. Chris and Amy Parker are sole owners until the completion of the building. Need affidavit of authority for LLC completed by current owners, Chris and Amy Parker if they have sole authority. Chris and Amy can then give you authority to act on their behalf by completing the letter of authorization provided in my original email. 2. I previously sent in a notarized copy stating I had authority to file the applications needed. I will attach that again. I will send the document needing Chris's signature when he gets the address info to me. We received the affidavit signed by you but if you are not the owner, you should not be completing this form. The affidavit of authority is intended for us to confirm what person has the right to act on behalf of the business entity. Installed lights should only be on when they serve a purpose. In 2022 the U.S. DOE reported that less than 1% of outdoor lighting at night ever reaches a human eye. 2. TARGETED: Targeted lights reduce glare and light trespass, and may be cheaper to install and maintain because putting all the luminaire's light where it's needed means a smaller, more affordable and energy efficient luminaire can be used. When thinking about targeted lighting, be sure to consider light spill -indoor lighting that shines through windows. Light spill has no value, and is 100% waste. 3. LOW LEVEL: Meeting all relevant illumination standards is a must, but adding more light beyond the standards adds little or no value, and simply wastes energy. Light is a tool of our modern society, and like any tool we should pick the right tool for the job. Using a sledge hammer to hang a picture on a wall will not produce a better outcome, and neither will piling on unnecessary light. 4. CONTROLLED: LEDs have inherent instant -on capability, which creates opportunities for on -demand lighting. Many lighting manufacturers include smart features (timers, motion sensors, networking) in their LED products, which enable sustainable on -demand lighting solutions. Smart lighting provides light when its needed and saves energy when light is not needed. Motion sensing capabilities may also provide a security function. 5. COLOR: Since 2009, The AMA has recommended streetlights have a color temperature below 3000K, due to the negative health impacts of higher color temperature lights. Skyglow is also a major concern, especially in an otherwise dark locale. Our atmosphere naturally scatters blue light more than amber light, so lumen -for -lumen, a 4000K luminaire will create 50% more skyglowthan a 3000K luminaire, while a 2200K luminaire will create 30% less Skyglow than a 3000K luminaire, and 200% less Skyglow than a 4000K luminaire.
