The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in
the County Board Room of the Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin. This meeting will be held in-
person.
The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 15 minutes total.
3. Approval of the March 10, 2025 Meeting Minutes.
4. 2025 Spring Timber Sale Offering. Discussion and possible action regarding the approval and
bid letting of the 2025 spring timber sales.
5. 2025 Town Road Aid Requests. Discussion and possible action regarding a summary of Town
Road Aid projects and the awarding of funds.
6. 2024 Accomplishment Report. Discussion and possible action on the report.
7. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on the report(s) only.
a) Forestry (all updates):
a. 2025 Budget.
b. Carbon Project.
c. Land Acquisition Projects.
i. Stewardship Application.
ii. BCPL 40 Acres.
iii. Iron River/Maki Community Forest.
iv. Whittlesey Creek.
d. Chapter 4000 (Barrens Management).
e. Herbicide Overspray Update.
f. Nature Conservancy MOU.
