The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
in the County Board Room of the Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin. This meeting will be held in-
person.
The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 15 minutes total.
3. Approval of the July 14, 2025 Meeting Minutes.
4. 2026 Budget. Discussion and possible action regarding the draft 2026 Forestry and Parks
Department budget.
5. 2026 Campground Rates. Discussion and possible action regarding proposed changes to various
use rates at Twin Bear, Delta Lake and Big Rock campgrounds.
6. Future Land Acquisition Project. Discussion and possible action regarding the development of
another land acquisition project.
7. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on the report(s) only.
a) Forestry (all updates):
a. 2025 Budget.
b. Carbon Project.
c. Barrens Tours.
d. Certification Audit.
e. Sustainable Forestry Grant.
f. Land Acquisition Projects.
i. Knowles-Nelson Stewardship.
ii. Whittlesey Creek.

g. WCFA Board Member Update.
