The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 6:00
p.m. in the County Board Room of the Courthouse in Washburn, Wisconsin. This meeting will be held
in-person.
The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 15 minutes total.
3. Approval of the August 11, 2025 Meeting Minutes.
4. Resolution: 2025 Budget Amendment. Accepting a Wisconsin Coastal Management Program
Grant and Expenditures for the Replacement of County Forest Lands. Discussion and possible
action regarding the resolution.
5. Park and Campground RFP Results. Discussion and possible action regarding a request for
proposals for design and planning work at Big Rock Campground, Fire Hill and Topside Lake.
6. Iron River Community Forest Management Plan. Discussion and possible action regarding the
management plan for the recently acquired Iron River (Maki) Community Forest property.
7. Recreational Use Agreement. Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association (CAMBA).
Discussion and possible action regarding the updated recreational use agreement with CAMBA.
8. Future Land Acquisition Project. Discussion and possible action regarding the development of
another land acquisition project.
9. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on the report(s) only.
