The Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Committee will meet on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 6:00
p.m. in the EOC of the Annex building, in Washburn, Wisconsin. This meeting will be held in-person.
The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1. Call to Order.
2. Public Comment – Limited to 3 minutes per person. 15 minutes total.
3. Approval of the October 13, 2025 Meeting Minutes.
4. Fall Timber Sale Offering. Discussion and action regarding the results of the 2025 fall timber
sale bid opening.
5. Sustainable Forestry Grant. Discussion and possible action regarding an application to the
Wisconsin DNR County Forest Sustainable Forestry grant.
6. Recreational Use Agreement. Bayfield Area Trails Committee (BAT). Discussion and possible
action regarding a 10-year recreational use agreement with BAT.
7. Monthly Reports. Discussion of general activities, events, issues and accomplishments. Possible
action on the report(s) only.
a) Forestry (all updates):
a. 2025 Budget.
b. 2026 Budget.
c. Carbon Project.
d. UWSP Forest Products Week Tour.
e. Land Acquisition Projects.
i. Stewardship – Round 2.
ii. Siskiwit River.
iii. Whittlesey Creek.

b) Campgrounds and Day Use Parks.
